Hey, I'm Imi

My journey began back in 2016 when I worked for Walt Disney as a Motion Graphic Designer. Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am, but so has my entrepreneurial spirit.

The spark for Imi’s Design Shop came when I was looking for a special, personalised gift for my partner but I couldn’t find what I wanted. So, I designed it myself and had it printed on a cushion. That one idea grew into something so much more, and in 2020, this little business was born!

I spent a year working with a third-party platform, selling my designs through their website. It was exciting, but I quickly realised that I wanted my products to feel more personal, more handmade, and truly mine. So, I took a leap, invested in my first printer, and started creating everything from my bedroom.

Since then, so much has changed. I’ve moved the business three times, upgraded printers and equipment, and continued learning and evolving every step of the way. It’s grown into a colourful collection of personalised party decor, custom gifts, prints, accessories and stationery – all designed with care, creativity, and a sprinkle of fun. Whether it's a hen party, baby shower, birthday, wedding, or just something to make someone smile, I’m here to help bring your ideas to life. Now, I’m proud to say I work from my own dedicated office space, a creative little hub where every order is crafted with love and attention to detail.

At the end of 2024, I took the biggest leap yet. I left my job to focus on Imi’s Design Shop full-time. It’s scary and exciting, but I’m so ready to take this business to the next level, and I’d love for you to follow the journey.​
